    Post xxviii

If x=10, v=5 and i=1 then how do I interpret the following Roman numbers?

    xxviii

    Thank you.

    Re: xxviii

In English we accept upper and lower case Roman numerals now, although the Romans themselves used capitals. In French, too, in fact. For example, in the theatre, act three scene two: "III, ii."
