    bouncing leg, tactile-kinesthetic

I am reading a book about building bonds through loving touch. What are the following phrases highlighted in red?

    1) Before the age of 12, children are more tactile-kinesthetic.

    2) Put baby's knee together & push them gently into tummy. Hold for 6 counts, gently bouncing leg.

    Tks / ju

1 They are more affected by touching/moving things, by the sense of feeling.
2 I assume it means gently gently moving the baby's leg back and forwards, towards and away from its tummy.
