Practise as much as possible: Listening - ESL Web Directory - UsingEnglish.com
My name is Em Mealea. I cam from Cambodia. I'm very difficult in English listioning, so what should I do to improve my listioning.
Dear Em Mealea
In addition to the ideas before:
1. If you have regular access to the internet there are many podcasts available, in addition to the link from Tdol. Type 'esl podcasts' in the search space and you will get a lot of links from Google. For example ELT Podcast to study the English language which has different levels, and PodCards which has comprehension questions and different levels.
2. Also, I have recommended this site to a couple of people and they think it's useful for practising. There are comprehension questions associated with each listening piece.
Listening | Learn English
It's easy to use the site.
3. Many student's manuals for learning English have listening cds or cassettes. Anyone can buy them - if they are not too expensive for you.
4. Is there an English club near you? This can be one way to speak and listen.
