    Are they the same?

    Hello there,
Would you please tell me if the following sentences mean the same thing?
    a) There is no electricity and water at my home.
    b) My home has no electricity and water.
    Thank you for your help.

    Re: Are they the same?

Although "Not X AND Y" is a logical assertion, in English we almost always use "OR" rather than "AND" to combine negations. Neither this nor that. No Electricity or water at home.

    Re: Are they the same?

    - There is no electricity or water in my house [apartment].
    - My house [apartment] has no electricity or water.

    Do these sentences sound natural?
