"I spent a week there one night."

    What does that mean?
    Thank you in advance!

    Without context, it's an absurdity.
With context, it probably means that it's not a very pleasant place to stay, and that one night felt like a week.

Re: "I spent a week there one night."

In AmE, it's a fairly common expression to describe a place where you spent one night but it was so horrible (for whatever reason) that it seemed like you were stuck there for an entire week.

For example, you might be out driving late at night during a trip in unfamiliar territory, and you have to seek lodging at the first/only motel you find. You're in Podunk, USA, the room is filthy, the people next door are having a noisy all-night party, the mattress is uncomfortable and the television doesn't work. You barely get any sleep and check out early the next morning.

Some time later, you're talking to a group of people and one mentions that he's from Podunk, USA, saying "it's such a small place, I'll bet you've never heard of it." You then reply, "Oh, I've heard of it - in fact I spent a week there one night."
