    Smile A or B

    Dear All,
Which option is correct? Is it:
    1: B
    2: B
    3: B

A: It was raining hard when we were arriving at the station.
B: It was raining hard when we arrived at the station.

A: I was sitting at home when the doorbell war ringing.
B: I was sitting at home when the doorbell ringed.

A: I was driving home when I was hearing the news on the radio.
B: I was driving at home when I heard the news on the radio.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Re: A or B

As our dear Bhai points out, the past tense of "to ring" is 'rang'.

to ring, ringed, it's possible if the verb means to surround with or as if with a ring; encircle.
