.........I carry that bag for you?

    What is the right choice?
.....................I carry that bag for you? ~Oh,thank you.
    a) Do b)Shall c)Will d)Would
In my viewpoint, I like b choice cos' I think that d choice is used in case we refer/talk to the third person like:
Do you mind If I would carry that bag for her? What about your idea?

My choice would be "May I..." but that doesn't seem to be an option.

'Shall' is the correct choice in BrE. Using 'would' you could say 'Would you like me to carry.....'

And if I love to use the word 'would' referring to the third person in questioning ( not mentioning directly). Show me some, please.

Would she like to come with us?
    Would he accept that situation?
Would it be ok if I used your phone?

    Is this what you wanted?

Yes,thank you. But actually I have some questions more:
    1) Do the "model verb" would/could/might show the ideas of
"politeness" only? just like (I would answer your questions if I have time.)
A teacher advised me that all the model verb also show the opinions too.
It means that if we want to show our opinions we've to use all the 'model verb' like: I would write a new report to the police to show how sincere I am. or
We could stand his rudeness no matter what happened next to us.

This demonstrates a general point; different national standards require different modals. In Am Eng - 'may I'; in Br Eng - 'shall I' (with a sprinkling of mays
and cans); in Irish Eng - 'will I' (yes - 'will I carry that bag for you?')...

And, in Canadian English, the most likely (and gramatically incorrect) version would be "Can I carry that bag for you????"

Sorry, I just wonder why "Can I carry that bag for you?" is grammatically incorrect.
