    Is "(1)" correct?
    If so, what's the difference between (1) and (2)?

    1. I want you not to go.
    2. I don't want you to go.

    I not sure what you mean by "correct". Sorry. Speakers use 1) for emphasis, but it's certainly not the Standard.

    I want you NOT to go!
