    Question Is or Are

Rapid heart, sweating, labored breathing, gasping, cyanosis is/are signs of asthma.
Allergenic asthma, childhood asthma, exercise-induced asthma, intrinsic is/are some forms of asthma. I pick are in both cases, but I am always having difficulty deciding if the singular or plural verb fits.

    Re: Is or Are

There are many subjects and therefore "are" is suitable in both the sentences, as you thought.
