Post Need help in checking the correctness of usage

    Hello there,
I need help to determine the correctness of the sentence mentioned below.

    Is this a right sentence:-
    ------------------------
"I will take your leave now" (This sentence is trying to tell the other person that he is going to leave)

I thought "I will take leave now" to be the right usage.

    Need your help.

Re: Need help in checking the correctness of usage

People used to say "I will take my leave now," which is somewhat dated [old-fashioned].
Nowadays, just say "I'm leaving [now]."
