    simple future vs simple present

    1) He is here from 12th to 16th of August.
    2) I am on leave from 12th to 16th of September.

Can someone please tell me if the above sentences sound natural? Should they be in simple future instead?

They are correct, and in normal use as we understand that they refer to future times. However it is equally good to use the future tense 'will be here', 'will be on'.

    Thanks a lot, apex2000!

Can someone please tell me if the above sentences sound natural?

Is the above sentence OK? Can 'please' be placed in the middle of the sentence or should it always come at the beginning or the end?
