what about the other questions?
For #2, consider the implications of the two options:
1. if you are going to remove
2. if you could remove
#2 is the more tentative option; #1 sounds quite definite.
Now consider the form of the statement: "I would be grateful..." (i.e. it is a kind of request).
Does that help you to choose the answer?
