    It depends on where you will send the info.

    Your way is good enough,although the Americans do month/date/year in numerical way like 08/25/1990.

    Exactly. I take every available opportunity to advise people not to use this form for dates. It is no longer meaningful in a global world.
    02/03/09 is even worse.
    25 Aug 1990 is an acceptable abbreviation.

    Just to throw in a wrinkle: In an American resume, CV, you would NEVER enter your birthdate. Age is prohibited to ask about and should not be provided by the job seeker.

    I know that wasn't the question, but if you're doing this for an US company, just OMIT IT!
