    Writing to female audience

    Hello I would like some advice/ examples of writing a business style letter to a female audience with a hook or sales message to get them to respond/take action to the letter.

    Since most of these cold-sale flyers are thrown into a bin, you can use a number of possibilities:

    Dear Madam is the simplest.

    Also, as most companies doing this sort of thing have a mailing list to hand, the addressee's name will be used:

    Dear Ms Alicia Brown
    Dear Mrs Jane Green
