    roll a joint?

Do you know singer Jason Mraz? I met expression I don't understand in lyric of his song.

Would it take a bakers dozen to get my point to you?
Would it take a half a pound to roll a joint for you?
Would it take some hailing mary's so full of grace to get my sound to you?
Will you help me break it down and get on thru?

What does the blue mean? Run or walk? And why is this lyric so difficult to understand?

Most pop songs use non-traditional English. Song lyrics are poetic, so they use artistic licence in their expressions. Most pop songs use a lot of idiomatic language. Many, such as this one, include culturally specific allusions.
