    see

    Dear teachers.

I'd like know the meaning of "sees" in (He never sees me).

I'm always in trouble with my parents. They are always telling me not to do things. Why should my father care about my room or my purple.
He never sees me. I think they ought to leave me alone.

What does a purple mean here? Is it a typo?

It means he doesn't catch him, they don't see each other enough. Perhaps they only meet in passing for a brief moment because the father's too busy with his life. On the other hand, it's also possible that his father doesn't even live with him because the family is split up.
