    please help me to correct, thank you.

    1) It was my friend who open up my eye to the field of culinary and made me realise the potential in this field.
    2) It was through my friend i began to realise the peotential in the field of culinary.
    3) The waitress revert the mistake she made to us.

    The waitress corrected the mistake she made.
    Eg. The waitress brought us two salads and a burger instead of two burgers and a salad. However, she corrected the mistake (for us).
    But the following could sound odd, since it's ambiguous: She corrected the mistake she made for us.
