    hi there

    are the following sentences correct:

    Regarding to the hyperlipidemia as one of the most important risk factors for cardiovascular disease, the present study was conducted to assess ...

    or it must be regarding ....or with regards to...???

    Twenty-four New Zealand male rabbits after 2 weeks of adaptation were fed 0.5 % cholesterol that was added their diet for 1 month

    or Twenty-four New Zealand male rabbits after 2 weeks of adaptation were fed 0.5 % cholesterol that was added into or to?? their diet for 1 month

    Twenty-four New Zealand male rabbits, after 2 weeks of adaptation, were fed 0.5 % cholesterol added their diet for 1 month.

    Since "hyperlipidemia as one of the most important risk factors for cardiovascular disease" is the very basis of "the present study", 'regarding' is far too weak.

    Anyone written their Ph.D. lately like to suggest how this might be re-written?

    (And am-ta: this might make it easier for us, if you quoted the paragraph leading up to this sentence - in normal small typeface.)

    thanks a lot. but that sentence, regarding to ..., was the beginning of the paragraph.
