From an article about how to keep exercising:

1. "Cut the soundtrack
Leave the slow songs for the sappy. High-tempo music is a better distracter."

Is it saying listening high-tempo music can stop you from focusing on that you're exercising?

2. Reward yourself
Celebrate reaching your goals by treating yourself to whatever you want. Book that appointment for a massage, or take a long, hot bubble bath. Reward yourself now because sometimes that short-term reward might be the only evidence of your long-term success.

Not sure what it is talking about. Why using "evidence?"

1 If you exercise to high tempo music, it will help you exercise energetically- slow music will slow you down.
2 After exercising, it may be hard to see that you are healthier/fitter, etc, so giv ing yourself a treat will help your motivation.
