Hello. I've read this sentences below in the picture book.

It is a part of a boy's big lie. I'm wondering what it means in the underlined sentences. Is it a superhero test or a super cat?
Please help!

"My cat is a superhero. He can fly. He is a great cook, He made moon-cheese omelettes for my whole family. And then he flew off to fight crime.
I'm studying to be a superhero myself. I have a big superhero test tomorrow. So I'll probably be up studying all night long for it.
Right now I'm resting my brain. It's not even in my head. It's napping on the couch. You can pet it if you'd like...."

Logically, it = the person's brain
