a cared husband

I know that 'a caring husband' is correct, but can we say 'a cared husband' ?

I know that 'a caring husband' is correct, but can we say 'a cared husband' ? No, but you can say 'a husband who (cares)(cared)'.

xpert, a "cared husband" wouldn't even mean the same. A "caring husband", well, HE is caring. A "cared husband", he is being cared by SOMEONE. It's not as it makes sense or anything, but oh well, it sounds strange even in its own structure.

A 'cared-for' husband is being cared for by someone else, such as his wife.
