I think that many members will be interested in this news:
The Associated Press, which supplies news stories to many newspapers here and abroad, has just announced that its reporters no longer need write "Web site." They may now write "website."
For English learners, this is an excellent example of how English terms often start with two words and then gradually become one word. The AP, of course, is just catching up with the times, for most people have probably been writing "website" for quite a long time.
Thank you.
