I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

A pedestrian was knocked down by a passing car, and when he rose to his feet, he was hit again by a pizza delivery driver on a motorcycle.

It's good gramatically. I'm not sure about using driver with motorcycle, though. To say pizza delivery rider doesn't sound natural, so why not pizza delivery guy/person/man on a motorcycle?

Or "pizza delivery girl/person/woman", of course. ;-)

I hope the pedestrian is OK now.
It's a horrible accident!
