WHat does the following sentnece mean?( it compares short story with a poem to explain what a short story is)
Just as in the poelm, the bare words( in a short story) are never complete meaning. Their sounds do things and they interact with each other. THe poem tries to create a piece of truth, an insight into being human and the form is so tight, so sparse that we can argue over exact meanings long into the night.
