On a writer's facebook, he writes:
A short article about how do I, as a Chinese subject textbook writer, look at the recent controversy of the appropriate % of classic Chinese in Chinese textbook curriculum.

Does any thing ungrammatical or sound unnatural in it?
In my opinion, I think the 'do' should be omitted.
What do you think about it?
Thanks!
PS I also posted the same question on this, but all of your answers are unique to me. Hope we can discuss with each other. Thank you.
PPS I don't know which tense I should use. 'he writes' or 'he wrote'? or both are acceptable?
