These two sentences are taken from OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS's Common Errors in English Usage:
“Advice” is the noun, “advise” the verb. When Ann Landers advises people, she gives them advice.

My question is whether native speakers would also say '“Advice” is a noun, “advise” a verb' without changing the meaning of the sentence?

Thank you in advance.
