"about" only?

Hello, teachers!

I've found the following:

1. I am excited ( ) my new life in Tokyo.

Accodring to the answer key, the answer is "about"
In my opinion, however, "with" and "in" seem to be appropriate here.

Would you let me your opinion about this?

In my opinion, "about" and "with" are all good. I don't think I would use "in".

I would like to add with is acceptable (at least to me but it seems I'm usually in the minority) but about is most often used.

About is the obvious answer. I think in is wrong. I can't say that with is 100% wrong, but it isn't very natural.

To me, the phrase suggests the new life in Tokyo has not started yet and that the excitement is one of anticipation. In this case, about is appropriate.

• to be excited about something (in the future)

We would often normally use with when the feeling and the event are concurrent:

• to be happy with my new life
  
• to be satisfied with my new life
  
• to be disappointed with my new life

These could be used when the new life is already in progress. It may make some sense, then, to say excited with if the new life is in progress.

That would be both good in BrE.

Andrew used "all good" in a slangy way where "all" is a sort of intensifier. The most common version is, I think, "It's all good."
