about the word fund raisings

there are a lot of fund raisings going on, lately.

does the word fund raising take an s --> in its plural form

it looks awkward.

I wouldn't put it into the plural- I think of it as an activity, not the events. ;-)

You want to use - there are a lot of fund raisers going on (save the world from overpriced gift wrap, candy and scented candles :wink: )
