Hello ,I want to know why in English we don't have amn't for negative? We just have I am not and I'm not, not I amn't. Is there an answer? Thanks

Archaically there was a form "amn't", but it has been lost. It is partly that it is not so easy to say.

There is another alternative, I ain't. It is now very informal and should not be used in formal writing.

The negative 'am not' is used as in 'I am not going'.
I'm not going is the same.
