if i use over instead of above,what is the different between the two prepositions?on the other hand, under is equal with beneath or below?

Even though within that particular context both over and above are synonymous in expressing higher than, they do in fact differ slightly in meaning: flew over expresses upward movement, whereas flew above expresses beyond reach.
