The list of words: concede, acknowledge, admit, recognize

I (1) that I have made a number of errors.
I (1) it was stupid to do it.

The question: Is it right that I can place any word from the list instead of (1) in the meaning of agreeing or accepting that something is true or a situation exists? Dictionaries provides literally the same explanaitions of this meaning for each word.

You can use acknowledge or recognise to point out that you've made errors, etc.
Admit and concede generally follow an accusation or suggestion by someone else that you've made an error. You can use any of the words here.
