Hi,

Is either adjective ever used to describe a lively and energetic society? Will you please suggest me a commonly used adjective for this?

Neither word is used. You've written two good adjectives - you can use either of them.

"Sprite" is an incorrect spelling of "spright".

Sprite is not related to "sprightly".

I meant "sprite" is another way to spell "spright." However, it is an incorrect spelling.

If it's incorrect, it's not a variant. 'Variant' has a specific meaning in linguistics - it applies to accepted correct alternatives.
