Hello, in the book i'm reading I came across this passage :
"In the main, I was uxoriously content. That is only a technical misuse of the adverb."
Does it mean that the word uxoriously is wrongly used? Or is there another meaning to these sentences?

It depends on context (as usual) 'Uxorious' can correctly be applied only to a man (who's excessively obedient to his wife). If the writer was female, for example, using the word to mean 'being a wife' (which seems to me possible), that would be a misuse - but an understandable one.
