is seen => is


5. While John was carrying the paint can from the garage to the house, some of it spilled on his pants.
it => the paint ?

6. Let's you and me bear in mind that there is no such thing as ghost.
ghost => a ghost ?

7. They questioned me unendingly about my trip to the Orient, where I had made some real valuable purchases.
real => really ?

8. Many years ago, it was believed that the earth was square and a person would fall off its edge.
a person => people ?

9. In New York they are considerably proud of their skyscrapers, the most breathtaking of which is the Empire State Building.

10. She used rather harsh words in denouncing him; but she must of had some very strong motive for doing so.
must of => must have ?

4- the Alps should be plural, strange as it may sound.;-)
