Probably two dozens, since the first even numebr is 2. Today's Parade stated Ray Charles had an even dozen children and he "couldn't stop loving."

An even dozen is exactly a dozen.

"Even" means precise or having an exact number or amount.

Yes. 12. :D There was a time, though, when "dozen" meant, thirteen (instead of twelve).

That dozen was called a baker's dozen.
