Hi,

I am planning to sit for a CLEP exam re the above subject. I have ordered "Best Test Prep for the CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature", "American Literature (Barron's Ez-101 Study Keys)", and "An Introduction to Literature (Barnet, Sylvan)".

Is there any other material you might suggest? How about Edgar Roberts? I want to be sure that I am well prepared for the exam.

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

In analyzing and interpreting literature, the most preliminary activity is to detect the incident and event( in case of poetry, images, ordinary and extraordinary) which matches and does not matches to your life. first introspects the reason why? if you love the idea rendered along with or not, start from the point.. pen down the idea, what would happen if the given incident and event and image would have presented in accordance with your concepts, and then go on to cream off parity and disparity among the ideas presented in the text. don't forget to write about the creative idea put forward in the text, and why the text is different form the previous one that you have liked most..
thank you.
