(1) He is liable to get angry.
(2) He is easy to get angry.

Is (1) correct?
Why can't we use (2)?

Which is more common:
1. He gets angry easily.(He easily gets angry.)
2. He is easily angered.

1 is correct.
2 doesn't work because 'easy'implies an outside agent- 'he is easy to make angry'works for this reason. Of your alternatives, the first is more common, the second more formal.;-)
