I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural. Would you please correct my mistakes?

Anna scooped a handful of flour from the sack and put it into the bowl with other ingredients.

She would usually put it into the bowl with the other ingredients. "With other ingredients" just casually mentions the other stuff as if it were not important and hadn't been mentioned before. In this narrative, Anna has probably previously been described putting things in the bowl to which she's adding the handful of flour.

Yes, it's fine. However, people are usually more precise with their measurements when it comes to cooking/baking. ;-)

I agree. I wouldn't know what a handful of flour looks like since it's not like you can actually hold flour in your hand.

My sentence was not about baking. I have written it to see if I could use "scoop from..." in it.
