I think that my dialect or actually what I've said is a saudi dialect

because it is a white dialect many people can write in this way from different Arabic countries

Try to guess again my dear

blue bird: thanks a lot.

it is really interesting. I'm very much into learning the origins of numbers. I have a set of books called Histoire Universelle Des Chiffres by Georges Ifrah. It's really good.

Devil's tear: who says life is easy? Why it should be? knowledge doesn't hurt:))

zero is sıfır in my language, quite similar:)

and you say one and the first is the same word : wahed.

doesn it make a confusion?

No no I misunderstood your question about the ordinal numbers

I thought that you want to know whats first number and what is the second number

any way
lets give you the ordinal numbers

First(awalan)----
second(thanian)
third(thalthan)
fourth(rabia'an)
fifth(khamisan)
sixth(sadisan)
seventh(sabea'an)
eighth(thaminan)
nighnth(tasea'an)
tenth(ashiran)

dally thanks for the ordinal numbers.

by the way, something caught my attention. rabia'an means fourth. and there is this saint woman in islam, rabia. I thought the stem of the word came from Rab(God), it means fourth. Do you know why?

No light there is no any kind of similarity between (rabia, rabia'an and RAB)
Rabia (female's name) came from the word(rabea'a) which means spring season

While Rabia'an came from the word(arba'ah) which means(four in english)

RAB means GOD only

By the way Light
Are you muslim?

I'm sorry for asking that but I'm very curious person

dally,
isn't april abril in arabic? fourth month. seems there is a relation /abr/ both used in fourth and spring name. anyway, about your question I can only say that I believe we are all a part of a superior being. I am also interested in theology, so try to learn about all religions.

I am never short of questions:) but for tonight, I'm done. I'll go and do something more ordinary, like watching the last episode of lost:)
