I have a sentence with amount definded in precentage. Should it look like this:
a) "The 85% of our products were going to EU."
or
b) "The 85% of our products was going to EU."
??

We don't use the definite article with percentages in this context, but we do use it with EU. Here is how your sentence should look:

85% of our products were going to the EU.

If the product were uncountable, we'd have;

85% of our oil was going to the EU.
