Hi,

Could someone tell me what is the difference between 'around the office' and 'in the office'?

E.g.

1. What to notice around the office when you go for a job interview.
2. 12 things not to say around the office.
3. I am just helping out in the office.

Thanks

1 & 2 are thinking about the physical space. The third is thinking about the office as a place of work, not focusing on the walls, etc, as in the first, or the people, at their desks, the water-cooler or in the corridor.
