Forget 'stated':
'Given the above, ...'
'In light of the above, ...'
'In view of the above, ...'
'In consideration of the above ...'
... and many more
Possibly, I suppose:
'Given what was stated above, ...'
but this seems unnecessarily wordy.
And 'Given the statement above ...' has a different meaning - you're referring to a specific statement and not in general what was stated.
Just stick to:
'Given the above, ...'
and you'll be right in most cases.
