Is the following sentence is OK? I was not sure about the verb tenses and word choices.

As a child, I didn't have many friends. I have two sisters who are younger and older than me, so I didn't feel like making many more friends because I got along quite well with my sisters and still we do.

When I was a child, I didn't have many friends. I had an elder and a younger sister. I didn't feel the need to make more friends because we three sisters got along quite well, and we still do.

You could also say two sisters - one younger, one older.

An em-dash is missing after 'two sisters'.
I would put a comma before 'so' if you insist on using it.
