What is 'as it is' mean in the following context? Does it mean 'already'? Or is 'already' different from 'as it is'?
I'd also appreciate if anyone can give me some more examples using this expression. Thank you!

Susan: "Oh yeah, this dress is just riding up as it is. If I walk any faster it’ll be happy Valentine's Day for everyone."

I think they are the same in this situation. 'as it is' means considering the present situation; as things are, 'already' used to emphasize that a situation or problem exists, for example:
I can’t help—I’ve got too much to do as it is (= already).
