Which is correct:

1-They were dancing as in the Fifties.
2-They were dancing like in the Fifties.
3-They were dancing Fifties style.

I think they're all okay, but some are better than others. In this order: 3, then 1, then 2.

They are all okay, I suppose, but I would prefer something like: "They were dancing like they did in the fifties." Or: "They were dancing like people used to in the fifties."
