i faced a problem in writing "as well as" in my composition.
i wonder if i should put gerund after it or not.

it is used as a conjunction...but because it is ended with "as",sth like a preposition... so,if i am referring to a present tense before it, should i keep the present tense after it ,or change the verb after it into a gerund???

First, what's your sentence? Second, conjunctions join two like units:

running as well as walking
run as well as walk
ran as well as walked

run as well as walking (Not OK)
ran as well as as walk (Not OK)
