Dear teachers,
I still feel confused by "as" as conjuction and as relative pronoun.
a. This man is described by peopel as appearing alert. (According to Grammar book this is subject complement)
b. He was not at all what one would regard as the figure of a soldier.(According to Grammar book this is subject complement)
I can't see the difference between the two and I think the first is correct when it is passive voice. Is that right?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
Jiang
