When I use at or in?
for ex: I study at/in a school?

I'd say that I study at school. ;-)

In addition, use 'at' for a location and 'in' for inside a room/building:

I eat in the cafeteria.
I study in the classroom.
I study at school.

School has more than one room/building, so location 'at' is best.
