As we all know, heart disease is the leading cause of death in many countries. The good news for those at risk is that caffeine can reduce this threat significantly.

Does "at risk" in the above amount to "in danger?" Thanks.

A danger is ever present whereas risk is the likelyhood of that danger happening.This is why insurance companies insure against risk and not danger;-).
