I signed up as a member of Dave's ESL and in their living discussion thread I posted problems with living in Korea. I talked about topics like laws and contracts that were broken by schools, laws not being enforced, and not enough protection for people's rights. This all pertained to the thread. Anyway, people chose to personal attack me and insult me, so I made the mistake to do the same. However, the moderators chose to personal attack me and insult me as well and showed favortism by banning me but not banning the other people. I will note the last topic I posted, I did not personal attack or insult people but I still got banned. I think the moderators and Dave's ESL need to stop showing favortism and ban some other people.

As for this I believe us English teachers should ban commenting on their forum.

People can boycott his site of they wish, but banning it is not a possibility. He is free to run it the way he feels is best. It is widely known that his site stifles and deletes anycriticism that might affect his advertising revenue, and, though I don't know from personal experience, there are many complaints about some of the moderators, with one in particular comingin for a lot of criticism. If you're looking for an alternative forum, have you tried ELT World Discussion :: Index ?

I will check on it

I understand but is it OK if I post questions and concerns here as long as I keep them in the proper threads. Besides that esl forum is run by a Dave, I am thinking the same Dave. Anyway, the problem is I started a topic and the moderators have it still opened though I can't even post on it. I think they should have at least closed it when I got banned.
